SMITH, Laureen Mildred - peacefully passed into eternity at the age of 76 with family by her side on March 19th, 2022 at Royal Victoria Hospital. Born November 21st, 1945 to Ken and Mildred Smith of Ivy, Ontario. Beautiful wife of David Gosney (pre-deceased). Dear sister to Larry Smith (pre-deceased) (Dianne) and Helen (Doug) Williams. Loving mother to her children Cheryl (Ryan) Stephenson and Shelley (Tim) Pierce. Loved by her grandchildren Joel, Madeline, Taylor, Liam, and remembered dearly by her family & friends.
 
A visitation & celebration of life will be held at Mapleview Church - 300 Mapleview Drive West, Barrie, ON, L4N 9E7 on Saturday May 7th - 1pm visitation with a service to follow at 2pm.
 
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Laureen’s memory to Westside Lutheran Church, Christ Church-St. Jude’s or the Barrie Food Bank.
