Karl Heinz immigrated to Canada in 1960 a few months before the rest of his family arrived. He started working in the metal fabrication trade. After retiring in 1993, they enjoyed many wonderful trips to Germany, Europe, United States, Madiera, Hawaii and St. Lucia. Karl Heinz always had a beautiful gardens and was very talented working with wood. He completed many projects around their home, the ultimate being the gazebo, which was enjoyed by many. In the last two years they spent many days and evenings in it enjoying a glass of wine, listening to good old music and talking about good times. They were still holding hands until the end. He will be greatly missed by many friends and family.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no funeral. There will be a celebration of life in the summer.
