Georgia Ann Gilmour (nee Langille)

January 23, 1957 - May 15, 2022

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Georgia Gilmour on May 15, 2022 in her 65th year.

Beloved wife of Sean Gilmour for 35 years. Sean will cherish her memory and times together forever.

Georgia will be lovingly missed by her children Dawn Ripley (Rod), Brenda Ripley (Jason), Joey Gilmour (Jacelyn), and Matthew Gilmour (Mattie).

Nanna to Sean, John, Dakin, Nickholas, Ian, Vince, Jacob, Duncan, William, Ava, Cooper and Emerson.

Forever loved by sister June Harris (Seymour).

Sister-in-law of Kathy Putman and the late Mark Gilmour (Terri Hough-Gilmour).

Much loved daughter of the late Douglas (Sonny) Langille and the late June Langille. Daughter-in-law of the late Matt Gilmour and the late Lona Mack.

Fondly remembered aunt of Marcus Gilmour, Angie Lineham, and MK Harris.

Born and raised in Toronto and settling in Innisfil 22 years ago, Georgia lived a life that was full of adventure and wanderlust. Georgia and Sean enjoyed numerous trips to Mexico and the Caribbean, a memorable visit to Scotland and Europe, scuba diving and house boating on the St Lawrence, swimming with the dolphins, and motorcycle trips wherever the wind would take them. Georgia also cherished her time at the Gilmour family cottage where she enjoyed the solitude and many happy family times.

At this time, the Gilmour family would like to thank Mandy MacDonald for all of the support and dedication she gave to Georgia during her illness.

Georgia leaves behind many people who will miss her very much and remember her fondly. A small gather of close friends and family will take place at the Lefroy Legion on Saturday May 28, 2022 at 11 a.m.
